NTS Selects MaCRoM® to Manage its New Control Room in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Tory Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce that Nova Transportadora do Sudeste (NTS) has selected MaCRoM® as their Control Room Management solution. NTS is deploying MaCRoM in its new control room in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.


MaCRoM is a specialized Control Room Management (CRM) web application, developed by Tory Technologies, to assist pipeline operators in supporting, documenting, and managing all their control room activities, as per the API 1168 recommendations.


“It is crucial for our company to have the opportunity to continue working with NTS on this strategic initiative, supporting their commitment to ensuring a safe and efficient operation. It means a lot for our team and our expansion in Brazil that NTS now has trusted us again to implement our MaCRoM technology to manage their new control room,” said René Varón, Tory-Tech’s President & CEO.


NTS transports natural gas through an extensive and reliable pipeline network system, connecting the most industrialized regions in Brazil, including the states of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and São Paulo. With more than 2,000 kilometers of pipelines and a capacity of 158.2 million m³ per day, NTS is responsible for moving more than 50% of the total natural gas consumption within the country.
